Mindfulness-Based Group Therapy Courses
Dr. V. offers Mindfulness-Based Cognitive Therapy (MBCT) and MBCT-Brief (an abbreviated version of MBCT) groups. Both MBCT and MBCT-Brief are evidence-based and structured 8-week group programs that combine mindfulness with cognitive-behavior therapy (CBT). Research shows that MBCT and MBCT-Brief reduce depression, anxiety, and stress, and help people manage pain.
Dr V. is fully certified to teach MBCT and MBCT-Brief and has 15 years of experience teaching these programs (see here for details on her training and credentials). All courses are currently virtual. Scheduled courses are listed below.
